Today, I’ll show you a few ways to refuse an invitation. When you refuse something, you say firmly that you will not do it. However, there are different ways of declining an invitation depending on the circumstance.
The diagram above shows how to say "no" in English, ranging from informal and strong refusals, to polite responses. So, let’s have a look at some ways of turning down something that is not desirable.
